Veto Vialpando

Biography


Veto A. Vialpando, 50, of Questa passed away on March 09, 2014. He served in the US National Guard and was a miner for over thirty years at the Moly Mine, the San Miguel and the Carlsbad Mines. Veto raised American Bulldogs, was an artist, woodworker and avid mud racer. He loved the outdoors including horseback riding, camping, fishing and hunting.

He is preceded in death by his infant son, Timothy brother, Fritz Vialpando III, grandmother, Elva Vialpando and niece, Veronica Vialpando.

He is survived by his wife, Kerry Vialpando, his children, Veto Vialpando Jr. (Amy), Jose and Antonio Vialpando, grandchildren, Jeremiah, Zachary and Isaac Vialpando, parents, Fritz and Irene Vialpando, sister, Denise Vialpando (Dennis Mecham), grandfather, Frutoso Vialpando, nephew, Juan Cisneros (Ayla), great nephew and niece, Juan and Alya Cisneros, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Rosary was held on March 12, 2014. Funeral mass was held on March 13, 2014. Both services were held at St. Anthony Parish Center in Questa. Interment was held at El Pueblito Cemetery.
