Broken Car

I arrived in Taos in May 1990 with a used red Ford Pinto. A friend helped me to purchase the car in Boulder Colorado. Not knowing what I got myself into I had constantly problems.
After two attempts at a Taos mechanic I was stranded and had no way to make that little monster move.
The verdict from the mechanic made me confused and puzzled as he said it is due to the altitude that the car wouldn't start.
Imagine Lambert listening to my story! He quickly offered to take a look and figured the problem out instantly. It took two days to get a new starter and voila the mysterious funky car ran as new.
His modesty barely allowed me to express my enthusiastic gratitude and at least pay for the part.
I'm sure there are many more stories out there and I would like to read them.
To me Lambert stands for integrity, kindness, patience and trust.
I'm fortunate and grateful to have met him on my journey through the United States!
