Chris Medina

Chris Medina, 55 of Taos passed away on March 19, 2014. He was a member of the Taos Fiesta Council in the 1990s, a religious education instructor for over 25 years and was a Mayordomo at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. He was a cosmetologist for over 25 years and mentored many of his employees. Aside from that, he continued his studies in early childhood education to better his understanding of being a parent. He is preceded in death by his mother, Dora Medina, father, Pete Espinoza, brother, Manuel Medina and uncle Tim Medina. He is survived by his children, Vanessa Medina, Zeke Medina, over 50 foster children, brothers, J.R. Fresquez and Leroy Fresquez Sr., sisters, Peggy Juarez, Nancy Gutierrez, Linda Trujillo, special niece and nephews, Devin Trujillo, Leroy Fresquez Jr. and Joseph Fresquez, many other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Rosary was recited on March 23, 2014. Funeral mass was held on March 24, 2014. Both services were held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.
