Edward "lalo" Duran

Biography

Edward Lalo Duran, 82, of Ranchos de Taos went to be with the Lord on July 20, 2014. He was born on February 15, 1932 at home to Mary and Edwardo Duran. He was united in marriage to Louisa Bernal on October 20, 1951. He loved his family dearly and all his grandchildren who were special to him. Lalo loved traveling, sports, hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, Edwardo Duran, mother, Mary Gusdorf, step-father, Frank Gusdorf, infant son, Eddie, son, Eddie T. Duran, grandson, Nathaniel and brother Jose Louie Duran. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Louisa Duran, sons and daughters, Ruthie (Moises), Lloyd (Irene), Ruben Ella (Julian) Paul (Yvette) Edwina, Amos (Judy), Annette (Greg) and Anthony (Charlene), grandchildren, Suzanne (Eligio), Maria (Jason), Melanie (Joaquin), Joey (Candace), Leslie, Stevie, Carlos, Jennica, Joshua, Briana, Amos, Jonathan, Eddie, Donovan, Mariah, great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Elizabeth, Justin, Isaiah, Ashlei, Taylor, Andrew, Noah, Jaelyn, Cameron, Bailey and Sierra, sister, brothers and sisters, Cordy Bagwell (Dub), Frank Gusdorf (Dorothy), Corine Mondragon (Chris), Edna CarMichael (Jim), Ted Gusdorf, sister in laws, Emma Duran, Rebecca Trujillo, Marian Gusdorf, niece, Melba Bustos (Orlando), many other nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Rosary was recited on July 23, 2014. Funeral mass was held on July 24, 2014. Both were held at San Francisco de Asis with interment following at the San Francisco Cemetery.
