We were saddened to read of Amy's death and wish to let Jeannie, Moran and the boys know that we are thinking of them in their time of sorrow. Amy was a beautiful and talented person and her death was a great loss to all who knew her.

Bryan Zimmerman published a tribute .

My wife, Laura Ortman, and I went to college with Amy at the University of Kansas. Amy later moved to Brooklyn, NY, around the same time that we did. We were lucky to share some good times Amy, and to witness her singular life and work and way in both Lawrence and NYC. I have some art work of Amy's that I imagine has been seen by virtually noone else but a small group of folks in Brooklyn back in the '90s. I would love to post some of these images online. If there is a place that anyone suggests would be appropriate, please do let me know. Our sincere condolences to Amy's family and friends. I honestly cannot think of a more receptive and gentle and unique person. Her spirit surely lives on within the hearts of a number of people still based here in NYC. sincerely, Bryan
