Tonita Lujan

Biography

Tonita Lujan, 93 of Taos Pueblo passed away on April 15, 2015. She is preceded in death by husband, Juan G. Lujan, daughters, Ida Lujan Isaacs and Tisa Lujan Wrana and great-grandson, Patrick Alexander Lujan. She is survived by her children, Ronald J. Lujan MD (Janice), and Judy Lujan.

Rosary was recited on April 16, 2015 at Rivera Chapel.

Mrs. Lujan was one of the original members of the Tewa Indian Women's Choir of Ohkay Owingeh (formerly San Juan Pueblo). It was our honor today to serve at her funeral mass. She is fondly remembered and will be greatly missed. She was included in the cover photo of our CD "Songs From The Tewa Mass" released in 1994.
