Ruben Albert Abeyta

Ruben Albert Abeyta, age 44, peacefully passed away on April 15, 2015 in his home in Moriarty, New Mexico. He was born on August 27, 1970 in Embudo, New Mexico and was the beloved son of Ruben D. and Evelyn (Cruz) Abeyta. Ruben was a member of the Knights of Columbus as well as The St. Frances of Assisi Catholic Church in Ranchos De Taos, New Mexico. His passion became his lifelong profession. Ruben was a Baker for Albertsons. Birthdays, weddings or any special occasion, Ruben loved to work his magic in the kitchen for family and friends. Ruben is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Rosalia Martinez, Esquiel Cruz and Flavio and Anita Abeyta; Brother in Law, Joseph L. Alaniz. He is survived and forever remembered by his Mother, Evelyn (Tomas) Abeyta; Father, Ruben D.( Nanette) Abeyta; Caregiver and Best Friend, Michael Hern; Brother and Sister in Law, Daniel T. and Christine Abeyta; Sisters, Francina P. Cordova and Ruby Ann Alaniz. Ruben was also blessed with numerous beautiful nieces and nephews. Ruben also will be greatly missed by his adorable pets Boo Boo, Princess and Jazzie.

Rosary will be recited on Sunday April 26, 2015 at 7 PM at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be held on Monday April 27, 2015 at 10 AM at San Francisco de Asis Church with internment to follow at the Pacheco Cemetery.

The Pallbearers will be all of his 11 beautiful nieces and nephews.
